Job Context:
∎ We, Shodesh Shipping & Logistic Company, are one of the renowned international freight forwarding companies looking for a Project Engineer for our organization who possess sound knowledge on heavy vehicles like crane, excavator and loader and other infrastructural equipment and have experience of project cargo handling and other project related works. Must be able to join by 1st of November.
∎ Job Location: Rooppur Office, Ishwardi, Pabna
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Scheduling, planning and managing all the technical activities aiming at assuring project
∎ accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
∎ Determining project specifications by studying customer requirements, and performance standards.
∎ Identifying project responsibilities by analyzing project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements
∎ Determining project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
∎ Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
∎ Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
∎ Cooperating and communicating effectively with project manager and other project
∎ participants to provide assistance and technical support
∎ Participating in tenders by reviewing bids from contractors, writing reports and documentation.
∎ Negotiating budgets, times-scales and other specifications with clients
∎ Outsourcing equipment from Vendors and maintaining in proper manner.
∎ Maintaining good and trustworthy liaison with clients, vendors, as well as co-workers.
∎ Planning and developing Loading-Unloading schedules and implementing in efficient way
∎ Analyzing and Interpreting work related data.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicant should have proven working experience as a Project Engineer
∎ Sound knowledge on Lifting, Rigging, and Lashing for Heavy Lifting Cargo will be added an advantage.
∎ Should have proficiency in the use of Office Management (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point).
∎ Should have the ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
∎ Should have the ability to meet deadlines.
∎ Should have sound analytical skills
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills particularly in Bangla and English.
∎ Should have the mentality to work under pressure.
∎ Should be smart, honest, sincere and punctual.
∎ Workplace: Indoor/outdoor
