Job Context:
∎ Zodiac Dredging Limited (A concern of Confidence Group) is looking for Project Engineer, Civil - Operations Team.
∎ Work Station: Full time at Project / Site based.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capable to handle the Project Team.
∎ Ensure that project work is carried out in accordance with standard construction procedure of River Bank Protective work as per supplied drawings, designs & other specifications.
∎ Participate in site coordination meetings with engineers & related contractors etc.
∎ Refer all requests for design changes and obtain necessary approvals prior to carrying out the work.
∎ Supervise day to day construction works of C.C block, dumping work of Geo-Textile Bag & related works as per project BOQ for River Bank Protection Work.
∎ Ensuring material quality & maintaining standards following approved specifications.
∎ Understanding all designs, drawings & specifications according to project standards.
∎ Daily Meeting with contractor and other site staff for the work schedule of next day.
∎ Report all site information to respective superior regular basis.
∎ To review progress of Projects at various stages and give guidance to concerned contractors for completion of the project in a time bound manner.
∎ Providing data for bills as per work completion in specified format of the client.
∎ Ensure timely completion of works as per planned schedule.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experienced in River Bank Protection Work, River Dredging
∎ Experienced in handling Bangladesh Water Development Board and Govt. organization.
∎ Ability to justify and persuade stakeholders.
∎ Very good analytical skill.
∎ Energetic, Confident and proactive.
∎ Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Good Proficiency in written and spoken in English.
∎ Ability to manage and work under pressure.
Salary: Negotiable
