Job Context:
∎ Confidence Infrastructure Limited (EPC Team) is looking for civil engineer with 9-12 years of experience in large scale project management for the position of Project Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create & maintain effective project plan, implement & monitor implementation or large-scale civil work projects.
∎ Arrange calls/meetings on regular basis with Project Engineers, Site Engineers & contractors to supervise and consult about overall project planning, progress, and maintain the Project Time Schedule (PTS).
∎ Understand contract documents, agreements & tenders-related issues.
∎ Coordinate with the design team, coordinators, accounts team, procurement team, business development team as well as submit reports and present the overall progress with Team leader & Chief Operating Officer.
∎ Instruct the site engineers for keeping a proper record of work quantities, labor quantities, daily conveyances, materials consumption, and optional works like dismantling/ breaking, additional works, etc. and record it for calculation of cost as and when required.
∎ Take necessary action for rectifications/ modifications of works as instructed by the clients and agreed by Confidence Group before/during project handover procedure time. Planning contingency programs in case timeframes change.
∎ Perform site inspections on regular basis to follow up on work progress of Silo projects ensuring that work progress is carried out as per the approved work schedule while guaranteeing that the timeliness of the project meets the target dates (attend progress meetings) and that appropriate resources are allocated as per the contractual agreement.
∎ Pursue standardization and streamlining to improve efficiencies in reporting, including continuous improvement of tools and techniques.
∎ Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders.
∎ Plan timeframes, using project management tools.
∎ Produce different analytical reports and statements independently.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have a clear concept regarding understanding the civil design, steel detailing & requirements represented in drawings.
∎ Ability to formulate Strategy, Policy & Plan.
∎ Proficiency in MS Project is a must, P6 will be advantageous.
∎ The candidate must have previous experience with project planning, work schedule, manpower management, equipment requirements, etc. for large scale projects.
∎ Should have excellent skills with quick estimation, AutoCAD (Civil), MS package (Excel, Word & Power Point, Project), etc.
∎ Must be computer literate and able to produce different analytical reports and statements independently.
∎ Experience with working across a complex project delivery cycle
