Job Context:
∎ A renowned organization is looking for a well experienced and enthusiastic personnel for its proposed health care and cancer research project which will be located at Narayanganj in Bangladesh.
∎ That project will be running under an Institution which will be a one-stop solution for the issues in health system - service, education, capacity development and research. Ensuring affordability and accessibility for the underprivileged will be the overarching philosophy in provision of all services from it. The Institute will be knowledge hub for cancer research in Bangladesh, providing valuable research to improve medicine, treatment, disease survelliance, immunology medical governance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create, improve, implement and enforce relevant strategy, policies and procedures that will ensure operational effectiveness of the KIIMS CaRe Project.
∎ Take the lead to encourage others and develop ideas and strategies which will advance the vision and mission of the organization as well as KIIMS CaRe Projects and to ensure its future survival, competencies and effectiveness.
∎ Explore new ideas and opportunities for resource mobilization beyond the traditional donors and undertake approaches including commercial operations, business joint ventures, and/or strategic coalitions with likeminded organizations.
∎ Attend visits from Donor, Partner and Government officials in the Project area and provide adequate briefing and information on the progress and Project activities.
∎ Accountable for creation of various project documents as required.
∎ Ensure preparation of various progress reports as required by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Masters in Public Health / MBBS/ Engineering or any other discipline from any recognized University or Institute.
∎ Should have more than 7 years of experience in project implementation. Experience in health care or hospital projects will be considered as added advantage.
∎ Should have knowledge in public health, rehabilitation, skill development and Project management.
∎ Should have devotion and passionate to work for people who need special nurturing.
∎ Ability to maintain result oriented activities through due diligence.
∎ Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.
