∎ High School Diploma/ Diploma in maintenance technician of electricity and/or mechanical and/or plumbing and building maintenance with at least three (3) years of experience in the industrial maintenance field.Experience Requirement:·         High School Diploma/ Diploma in maintenance technician of electricity and/or mechanical and/or plumbing and building maintenance with at least three (3) years of experience in the industrial maintenance field.·         Knowledge of mechanics and electricity, familiarity with compressors, and handling of electrical measuring devices, plumbing.·         Knowledge and experiences on Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems·         Working with mechanical systems (e.g., knowing mechanical concepts, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, performing basic household repair in plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operating hand tools and power tools, etc.)·         Working with basic refrigeration systems (e.g., understanding refrigeration cycle, Freon, compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.)·         Working with electrical systems (e.g., understanding flow, wiring, outlets, etc.)·         Incumbents having technical/vocational training in maintenance with five (5) years of extensive experience in the relevant field will also be considered·         Ability to communicate in local Chittagonian/Rohingya dialect will be considered advantageous.·         Previous experience in UN, UN Affiliate or other International organizations is an advantage. Competencies:Accountability:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎
∎ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspection for routine and preventative maintenance at HP, PHCC and ITC related all civil, electrical, plumbing and mechanical component/equipment. Complete and submit inspection checklists on prescribed schedule and recommendation of the required repair/maintenance works, and provide them to Supervisor.
∎ Proactively undertake routine preventive maintenance of all civil, electrical, plumbing and mechanical components/equipment including but not limited for boreholes, water storage, pipeline infrastructure, generators, water treatment, plumbing, electrical fixtures and fittings, and buildings at HP, PHCC and ITC.
∎ Performs minor maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing appliances performing basic household repair in plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operating hand tools and power tools, etc.
∎ Coordinate with the necessary authorities to ensure availability of fuel / lubricants for all generators and to monitor the fuel consumption of each unit.
∎ Coordinate with the Site Development Operation Officer/Construction Engineer in preparing purchase requests for maintenance spare parts and consumables and submit to the Logistic/Procurement Unit. Prepare and submit utilization report to the supervisor and share to Logistic/Procurement Unit for the record.
∎ Ensure that consumption of fuel for generators is within normal manufacturer determined standards.
∎ Cleans and repairs equipment, such as replacing defective valves and removing debris and dust from equipment elements, using hand tools and air hose.
∎ Ensure timely approval is obtained of authorized personnel for approval of requisitions, invoices, etc.
∎ Places systems in a safe condition for maintenance work, supporting maintenance activities and communicating status to the facility supervisor and co-workers
∎ Receives requests for repairs and generates work orders specifying the appropriate technical data.
∎ Responsible for HP, PHCC and ITC and related building overall functionality.
∎ At the request of the Line Manager, participate in staff development and training processes
∎ Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, stored in a organized manner.
∎ Maintain records of maintenance and repairs as directed by supervisor.
∎ Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 77,350.17.
