∎ Strong understanding of retail/commercial space planning, pedestrian movement, and way finding design.
∎ Proficiency in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, Photoshop, and other relevant design tools.
∎ Ability to multi-task and deliver overlapping packages under tight deadlines.
∎ Excellent design sense with strong visualization and presentation skills.
∎ Practical knowledge of building codes, accessibility regulations, and commercial architecture best practices.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
∎ Experience working in live construction sites and adjusting designs to accommodate on-ground changes is a big plus.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Shop allocations across multiple floors·
∎ Main entries/exits and lobby areas·
∎ Parking zones (surface and/or basement)·
∎ Public circulation spaces·
∎ Landscaping and outdoor design elements·
∎ Collaborate closely with the engineering·
∎ MEP, and interior teams to ensure seamless integration between design and execution.
∎ Work on fast-paced, concurrent design packages to match construction timelines.
∎ Prepare drawings, 3D visuals, zoning concepts, and design presentations for internal reviews and approvals.
∎ Supervise design execution on-site and coordinate with civil contractors as necessary.
∎ Recommend practical design solutions that are cost-effective, functional, and visually compelling.
∎ Ensure all architectural work complies with local codes, safety standards, and development regulations.
∎ Work closely with vendors for materials, finishes, furniture layouts, lighting, signage, and branding elements.
∎ Attend project meetings with stakeholders, provide status updates, and incorporate feedback in real-time.
∎ We are building one of Bangladesh’s most iconic developments — the third-largest shopping mall in the country, located in the heart of Mirpur, Dhaka. The project is currently 60% completed. As part of a strategic reshuffle and acceleration plan, we are hiring a Project Architect who will play a critical role in driving the architectural design and coordination aspects to ensure a timely and successful launch.
