Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in EEE with at least two First-class/division/A grades throughout their academic career. Additionally, the candidate must have achieved at least one First-class/division/A grades either in their Bachelor's or Master's degree in EEE, along with a minimum of 15 publications, five of them as an Associate Professor.
∎ The candidate should hold an MPhil or an equivalent degree in EEE, with at least two First Classes/divisions/A grades throughout their academic career, along with a minimum of 15 publications, seven of them as an Associate Professor. Additionally.
∎ 4-year Bachelor's and Master's degrees with Honors/3-year Bachelor's and Master's degrees with Honors. Must have a minimum of 3 First divisions/classes/A grades. Must have at least 15 publications, including seven as an Assistant Professor.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), and develop new courses as needed.
∎ Develop innovative and up-to-date course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assessments.
∎ Implement effective teaching methodologies to facilitate student learning and engagement.
∎ Lead and conduct cutting-edge research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), producing high-impact scholarly articles and papers in renowned journals and conferences.
∎ Mentor and collaborate with students, research associates, and junior faculty members in research projects.
∎ Play an active role in shaping the academic direction of the Department of EEE, contributing to curriculum development and program enhancement.
∎ Serve as a mentor and advisor for graduate students, guiding them through research projects and theses.
∎ Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and administrative responsibilities as needed. Serve on university committees and contribute to the governance and growth of the institution.
∎ Engage in continuous professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and seminars, staying updated with advancements in the field.
∎ Encourage and support the professional development of colleagues and students.
∎ Foster collaboration within the Department of EEE and with faculty members from other departments or institutions to develop interdisciplinary research projects and academic programs.
∎ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior faculty members, supporting their professional development and academic growth.
∎ Assist in the administrative functions of the department, which may include student recruitment and retention, budget management, and accreditation-related tasks.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ For PhD holder 12 (twelve) years of teaching experience in a university or recognized equivalent educational institution, along with 5 (five) years of experience as an Associate Professor.
∎ For MPhil holder 18 (eighteen) years of teaching experience in a university or recognized equivalent educational institution, along with 7 (seven) years of experience as an Associate Professor.
∎ For holders of Bachelor's and Master's degrees, a total of 20 years of experience in an educational institution at the university level including seven years of experience as an Associate Professor.
∎ For those with experience at the college or research institute level, half of that experience will be considered. College-level experience will be applicable only to relevant honors and master's courses.
