Responsibilities & Context:
As Production Officer/ APO
Floor Operations & Supervision: Oversee daily weaving, spinning, and batching operations to keep workflow smooth.
Machine & Loom Management: Monitor loom running, tie-ups, and routine inspections, and coordinate with the mechanical and electrical teams to fix breakdowns.
Target Achievement: Track daily production progress against set quotas and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Quality & Waste Control: Check fabric and yarn quality, fix defects, monitor raw jute consumption, and work to reduce waste.
Manpower Deployment: Assign operators and shift workers, track attendance or overtime, and train junior staff.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and factory discipline.
Reporting: Maintain shift logbooks, inventory registers, and daily/monthly production reports for management
