Job Context:
∎ Managing all operational and technical aspects of the Chemical project.
∎ Job Location : British Bangla Chemical Ltd., Kalapur, Sreemangol, Moulbibazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As Factory Manager (Production), the position holder will be responsible for:
∎ Managing the employees and end to end operations using available machinery/technology and process norms to ensure smooth, efficient & cost-effective production as well as Customer Support requirements of precipitated calcium carbonate.
∎ Production & manpower planning on past and future production projections, based on factory capacity.
∎ Full production, quality line and machine wise job distribution to the respective operators.
∎ Responsible for production & manpower planning on past and future production projections based on factory floor level capabilities and constraints.
∎ Leads and monitors the activities of the team members and provide necessary guideline to perform the jobs effectively to enhance the productivity.
∎ Capable to understand the requirement of customer which is specified in drawing (2D & 3D) measurement and ensuring to production process
∎ Develops effective plans & procedures/SOPs to provide effective maintenance and utility related support to the required areas.
∎ Identifies areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues.
∎ Evaluates & monitors the operation parameters and take immediate corrective action.
∎ Identify & implement various measures to improve the efficiency of the machinery.
∎ Raw materials requirement calculation and submissions to concern and take preventive action to avoid shortage of raw materials.
∎ Having knowledge on isostatic upper punch
∎ Furthermore, the position holder must be able to:
∎ Lead, monitor the activities of the team members and provide clear parameters to perform jobs effectively subsequently enhancing productivity.
∎ To be able to understand the requirement of the customer, which is specified in a flow chart, as specified Mash size, density and moisturizer.
∎ Develop effective plans & procedures/SOPs to provide effective maintenance and utility related support to the required areas.
∎ Identify areas for improvement and delegate work to employees to resolve newfound issues.
∎ Evaluate & monitor the operation parameters and take immediate corrective action.
∎ Identify & implement various measures to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing line.
∎ Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of the Raw Materials requirement calculations and uphold a steady supply, avoiding a shortage
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 31 years
∎ Minimum 5 years in heavy industry
∎ The capability to use a PC efficiently.
∎ Experience with industrial machineries.
∎ Must understand 2D and 3D design & drawing.
∎ Responsible for full production with quality as per customer requirements and deliver the goods within the lead time set by sales team.
∎ Must have previous experience in the processing industry.
∎ Can manage correction on design (BOM).
∎ Assign tasks to the operators, lead and monitor their activities while providing the appropriate guidance to enhance productivity.
