Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Based on an understanding of construction work, responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors. - Main materials: rebar, concrete, cement, aggregate, sand etc.
∎ Evaluate vendors’ quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the Project.
∎ Initiate procurement process in a timely manner.
∎ Perform supplier evaluations as required based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
∎ Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
∎ In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, contracting, issuing and following up on P.O., delivery and shipment schedules including tracking of payment and invoicing.
∎ To resolve problems raised by site pertaining to poor performance of vendors etc.
∎ Build strong relationship with suppliers to get the first hand information of their structure change/financial situations and to keep abreast with material trends, pricing, new models.
∎ To undertake any other duties/tasks as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Motor Pool installation & Operation
∎ Knowledge of latest technology, mixes, Quality standards.
∎ Good time management and communication skills (oral & written).
∎ Proficiency in MS Office.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good reporting skills with management
Salary: Tk. 60000 - 70000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ T/A, Mobile bill, Tour allowance, Medical allowance
∎ Lunch Facilities: Partially Subsidize
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ As per company policy.
