Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Source products from China online marketplaces.
∎ Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and compliance.
∎ Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions in Chinese or using translation tools.
∎ Track order progress, production status, and shipping timelines.
∎ Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for shipment updates
∎ Handle defective product claims and coordinate replacements or refunds.
∎ Generate procurement reports and cost summaries.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
∎ Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in Procurement and International sourcing.
∎ Experience using Alibaba, Taobao, 1688 or similar platforms is mandatory.
∎ Strong negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal).
∎ Basic understanding of Incoterms, logistics, and Import documentation.
∎ Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and basic data handling.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
∎ Experience in Alibaba, Taobao, 1688 China platform.
∎ Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changes quickly.
∎ Must have a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are looking for a detail-oriented and Proactive Procurement Executive with experience in sourcing products from China online marketplaces such as Alibaba, Taobao and 1688 etc. The ideal candidate will manage product sourcing, supplier communication, price negotiation, order placement, and shipment follow-up.
