Educational Requirements:
∎ The Candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Textile/Fashion Design/Mechanical/Industrial & Production Engineering/Relevant Engineering field preferably with a Ph.D. degree from any recognized University. S/He must have sound academic background with at least 3 first classes from S.S.C to post graduate level and minimum 10 publications in reputed journal. The candidate should have at least 18 (eighteen) years professional experience of which 10 years must be in teaching at undergraduate/graduate level and at least 1 year active teaching experience in the position of Professor in any recognized University/Educational institutes. Candidate must be at the age range of 45-60 years on the date of the application. Candidates having experiences in managing educational/training institute will be treated as added qualification. The qualified candidate should have adequate knowledge about the textile industry’s potentials, manpower requirements and training needs of Bangladesh. Candidates must have strong leadership quality & team building ability to guide the subordinates to achieve mission & vision of NITER.
