Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Nursing with M.Sc in Nursing/MPH. Ph.D will be preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure efficient management of INC for a secured, effective and dependable education and training of the students.
∎ Assist and ensure necessary education and training of faculties officers and employees of INC.
∎ Principal is the Administrative Head of INC.
∎ Administer the Nursing College as per the rules of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, DG of Health, DG of Nursing and Midwifery and Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council. BSMMU, Dhaka University, different Authority of the Government in related to the Nursing Council.
∎ She/He will be directly responsible for appropriate and effective management of INC.
∎ Look after the duties, discipline and welfare of all members of the college.
∎ She/He will initiate Annual Confidential Report (ACR)/Annual Performance Report (APR) of all Professors and Dept Heads of INC.
∎ As Principal INC she/he will countersign the ACR/APR of all members initiated by the Dept Heads of INC.
∎ She/He is empowered to sanction maximum of 03 days CL of all members. Application of employees for CL more than 03 days and EL are to be processed for approval of MD, IML through Principal, IMC and Director, IML.
∎ She/He will be responsible for placing demand keeping the utility in view, receive, maintain, proper use of all instruments, equipments and other stores of the college.
∎ Prepare annual budget for INC and place it before Management Authority.
∎ Prepare annual academic calendar for the college.
∎ Maintain liaison amongst the Governing Body of IMC/INC and Management of IML.
∎ She/He will prepare routine and distribute works to all subordinates as per prevailing rules.
∎ She/He will visit all sections and classes of INC daily.
∎ As principal, INC she/he will be responsible for collection of different fees from the students and its deposition to the Account Branch of IML.
∎ Discipline and welfare of students of INC.
∎ She/He will ensure the expected standard of education through implementation of syllabus and course curriculum provided by the appropriate authority.
∎ She/He will be responsible for admission of students in approved courses, students leave and migration.
∎ Attach nursing student to IMCH for this clinical education and training on diseases and handing/management of patients.
∎ Administer and maintain Nursing Students Hostel.
∎ To follow instructions and assignments given by the Management from time to time and abide by the rules and regulations of the organizations.

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 15 years experience of teaching and administrative work in reputed nursing institution.
∎ Computer literacy.
∎ Must have updated registration from Bangladesh Nursing Council.
∎ Office Hours: 08:00 am-02:00 pm
∎ Job Nature: 10% needs field visit and 90% desk job.
