Experience:

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
• Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Master of Surgery (MS)

• 20 to 25 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre

• Age 55 to 60 years

• MBBS with higher qualifications (FCPS/MD/MS/PhD or equivalent) in relevant medical discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of academic and administrative experience in medical education, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Vice Principal/Professor/Head of Department).

• Thorough knowledge of BMDC, DGHS, and MOHFW guidelines.

• Proven track record of academic leadership, faculty management, and curriculum development.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Commitment to ethical practices, quality education, and student-centered learning.

1. Provide strategic leadership in academic, administrative, and operational matters of the college.

2. Ensure compliance with BMDC, DGHS, DU, and Ministry of Health rules and regulations.

3. Oversee curriculum planning, teaching methods, examinations, and student assessment systems.

4. Supervise and support faculty recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.

5. Promote a culture of research, publications, and evidence-based academic activities.

6. Ensure effective collaboration between academic departments and the hospital for integrated clinical training.

7. Maintain discipline, student welfare, and academic counseling support.

8. Guide and monitor the implementation of quality assurance and accreditation standards.

9. Represent the college at national and international academic/professional forums.

10. Develop policies and strategies for institutional growth and sustainability.

11. Manage budgets, resources, and ensure financial accountability of the academic wing.

12. Act as the chief academic spokesperson of the college, liaising with governing body, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.

13. Strengthen alumni relations and promote partnerships with medical institutions and organizations at home and abroad.

14. Ensure ethical practices, transparency, and uphold the mission and vision of DCIMC.
