Responsibilities & Context:
Operate pumps, blowers, mixers, dosing pumps, filters, valves, and other ETP / STP equipment as instructed.
Check plant flow, tank level, pressure, aeration, chemical dosing, and general equipment condition during duty hours.
Take samples and assist with routine testing such as pH, DO, COD, TSS, color, and other basic checks as assigned.
Keep daily log sheets, meter readings, chemical use records, sludge records, and shift handover notes properly updated.
Observe process conditions and report any abnormal issue such as foam, odor, overflow, leakage, low air, poor settling, or equipment failure.
Support sludge transfer, dewatering, plant cleaning, and general housekeeping.
Help during maintenance work and immediately report any mechanical, electrical, or safety problem to the supervisor.
Use chemicals and PPE safely and follow all plant safety rules and operating instructions.
