Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC (Science)/B Sc (General)/ B Sc (Hons)
∎ Or
∎ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from public Institutes.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for smooth and efficient running of the plant to meet production requirement including trouble shooting;
∎ Ensuring final products are in top quality in close cooperation with Shift Supervisor/Shift In charge;
∎ Follows Operational Policies and procedures to operate plant equipment safely and efficiently to minimize or prevent injuries, property loss, and environmental damage.
∎ Clear communication to Shift Supervisor, Production Manager and/or Plant Manager about issues and plant performance;
∎ Have the possibility to adjust/participate in maintenance related activities;
∎ To ensure proper shift hand over;
∎ To up keep plant housekeeping (indoor and outdoor);
∎ Plant operator should become familiar with food safety (HACCP), safety & health (OHSAS 18001), environmental protection (ISO 14001) and quality (ISO 9001);
∎ Follow all safety policies and procedure
∎ Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality.
∎ Strategic delegation of maintenance issues to teammates for effective and efficient problem solving.
∎ Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy.
∎ Perform to root cause analysis and resolve problems accordingly.
∎ Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
∎ Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors.
Additional Requirements:

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Manufacturing (Edible Oil refinery, Sugar refinery, Flour, Chemical, solvent extraction, Auto rice Mill Etc.)
∎ At least 2 years practical experience specially in manufacturing industries
