Educational Requirements:
∎ BSC Degree in Marine Engineering /Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from any public university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
∎ Working experience as an operations manager at the project side in water construction or dredging projects will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Ensure all systems are in place for commencement of dredging project through planning, monitoring and executing from award of work to till completion of the project.
∎ 2. Utilization of dredgers as set out in budget.
∎ 3. Conducting analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
∎ 4. Keep a track of Project expenditure and to ensure that it is within the budget by regular monitoring of actual v/s budget.
∎ 5. Identifying and posting key personnel onboard operations according to the project requirement to ensure best production and timely completion of project.
∎ 6. Deployment of Dredgers as per the schedule of the respective projects to meet client’s requirements operationally.
∎ 7. Ensure all production related equipments functioning properly and identify the defects and get it rectified through Tech dept.
∎ 8. Co-ordinate with the Project Manager, Masters and Clients on dredging methodology, progress of projects and schedules.
∎ 9. Organize survey team in co-ordination with Port to carry out pre, post and check survey and get the chart prepared and monitor progress physically.

∎ Very good command in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Presentation
∎ Must be smart, dedicated and well organized
∎ Defense personnel with experience in similar field will be given priority.
