Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
At least two years of operational and field experience in physiotherapy
Experience in emergency health activities for migrants, refugee and displaced persons will be an added value.
Experience in working with UN and international health agencies will be an added value.
Responsibilities & Context:
Facilitate the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and therapy of patients who suffer from physical challenges caused by illnesses, injury, disability or aging.
Assist in planning and organizing physiotherapy and palliative care activities
Referral of patients to medical doctors or other facilities as per IOM referral guideline
Facilitate physiotherapy through the provision of health facility-based services and home visits in Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazillas in Cox’s Bazar
Data collection and reporting as per standard template and requirements
Participate in periodic coordination and team meetings at facility, Upazila and district level
Facilitate training for palliative care staff in relation to physiotherapy Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Job Other Benifits:
Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 61,880.33.
