Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS from Government / Non-government medical colleges with BMDC registration.
Job Context:

∎ Work Location Chittagong Medical College, Bangladesh
∎ Expected Start Date: 1 April, 2023
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take part in daily roaster duty in the "Call Centre".
∎ Management of all incoming telephone calls from public and health care professionals, and providing advice according to the conditions of the patients
∎ Provide referral information, related to the call (location of nearest health facility where further treatment available).
∎ Locating the patients' geolocation and connect to nearest first responder, whenever such situation arises.
∎ Communicating with the consultant (on-call) if needed.
∎ When required, contact the nearest health facility, and arrange for ambulance / emergency transport to the place of incident.
∎ Maintaining electronic records) of the incoming calls (Patient contact, history, and treatment).
∎ Working closely with multidisciplinary team which involve consultant (on-call), auxiliary , and administrative staff.
∎ Hand-over the tasks to colleagues on next roaster.
∎ Report on daily basis, and update the deliverables assigned by the coordinators through email as required.
∎ To perform other duties as per requirement of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Completed at least one-year post graduate training in internal medicine or relevant discipline from an approved Government. medical college hospital.
∎ Training on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) modules will be preferable.
∎ Knowledge of poisoning related management (according to country context) will be preferable.
∎ Familiar with telemedicine and electronic data records would be preferable.
∎ Excellent computer skills, and competencies to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, and web browsing.
∎ Fluency in spoken and written aspect of both Bengali and English language is needed.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary is Tk. 40800/= (Including taxes).
