∎ Diploma or certification in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist (experience in a foreign medical check-up center is preferred).
∎ Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary blood collection techniques.
∎ Strong knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
∎ Good communication skills in Bengali and English.
∎ Ability to handle multiple patients in a fast-paced medical environment.
∎ Friendly and professional attitude with excellent patient-care skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect blood samples from patients using proper phlebotomy techniques.
∎ Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and sample handling.
∎ Maintain a sterile and hygienic work environment, following infection control protocols.
∎ Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing and transportation.
∎ Assist in processing urine, stool, and other specimen collections when required.
∎ Maintain accurate records of blood draws and patient information.
∎ Ensure patient comfort and safety, particularly for those who are anxious about blood collection.
∎ Follow all international medical check-up standards for sample collection required by embassies and immigration authorities.
∎ Work closely with medical officers, lab technicians, and administrative staff for efficient workflow.
