Educational Requirements:
∎ Education:
∎ 1. B.Pharm & M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Technology
∎ 2. Diploma in Pharmaceutical
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To have a thorough knowledge of generic, brand names and category of all the available drugs.
∎ Greet Patients, Clients, Visitors and Guests and provide service with smile.
∎ To dispense right medicines based on the prescription received after checking the expiry, batch number and the MRP and ensure pleasing service to the customer.
∎ Preparation & issue of the bill against medicines and related items issued from pharmacy to the concerned patient/patient attendant.
∎ Focus on sales and strive to attain the target of the pharmacy.
∎ Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage to patients as needed
∎ Maintain proper documentation as per statutory and functional requirements
∎ Continually keep a track of expiry status for the medicines in the pharmacy
∎ Submission of related MIS report to the Management on a daily basis
∎ To communicate with doctors for the availability of substitute whenever there is an enquiry for the brands which are not available
∎ Proper handling of cash and ensure that there is no discrepancy in the cash or card transaction during the shift.
∎ To co-ordinate with supervisor for procurement and storage of medications as per the day to day requirements.
∎ To work with the Pharma aid for the removal of near expiry, non moving stocks and to report the same to the supervisors and to monitor storage conditions of the drug.
∎ To give feedback on slow moving and fast moving drugs. Bouncing of prescriptions to be noted and highlighted to the Incharge.
∎ To maintain correct inventory of stock as per the system stock and assist in stock audit.
∎ To check the packing conditions and quantity of drugs during returns.
∎ To monitor Refrigerator temperature on day to day basis and to document the same.
∎ Handle all the inbound calls primarily focusing on drug information, patient counselling/education.
∎ Perform any other job assigned by the in-charge as per demand of work
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ “A” Grade Pharmacist's registration certificate from Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh.
