Power Plant Operations and Maintenance
Job Responsibilities:
∎ >>Before COD:
∎ Familiarize, Co-ordinate, Support in the Implementation of Plant Performance Software.
∎ Identify and Implement Plant Performance Indicators in the Software with Service Provider.
∎ Prepare Plant Performance Evaluation and Generation Reports and Outage timelines.
∎ To prepare the procedure in relation to Plant Performance, annual Capacity Test and Heat Rate Test.
∎ To be witness of Plant Performance Test and evaluate it accordingly.
∎ >>After COD:
∎ Help ensure key generation plants and equipment like Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Condenser, Major Pumps are operating at optimal output, efficiency and reliability.
∎ Identify plant performance degradation and provide and justify improvement projects for key generation plants and equipment like Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Auxiliaries.
∎ Prepare Daily Plant Performance Reports and Provide Feedback to make improvement in Generation and Overall Plant Performance.
∎ Help ensure Company's compliance to Contractual and Regulatory requirements of GSA, PPA, LTSA, DOE and other Government and Lender Requirements.
∎ Generate Monthly / Yearly Energy Conversion Factor for Gas/Energy Trading and Portfolio Management.
∎ Plan and Co-ordinate with Operation and Maintenance Staffs to Schedule and Optimize Plant Outages.
∎ Repot performance engineering result regularly/occasionally to Engineering Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ High Level of CCGT operation / performance skill
∎ Understand the Overall Operation, maintenance and engineering practices in a Combined Cycle Power Plant (Mechanical Background is preferable).
∎ Ability to Identify, Calculate Plant Performance Factors. Engineering Calculations, Thermal Efficiency, Generation Factors.
∎ Knowledge in thermodynamic plant performance software is an advantage.
∎ Communication skills (spoken and written) for internal and external stakeholder management.
∎ Analytical capabilities to analyze trends and pattern in Operation and Maintenance.
