Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate closely with the engineering team to transform product requirements into detailed schematic diagrams for IT components.
∎ Utilize advanced PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer) to create layouts that meet performance, size, and cost objectives for IT products.
∎ Work in conjunction with suppliers to select suitable electronic components based on project specifications and cost considerations.
∎ Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure the integrity and functionality of the designed PCBs for IT applications.
∎ Maintain effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturing personnel.
∎ Create thorough design documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and fabrication files specific to IT products.
∎ Implement best practices for PCB design to guarantee high quality, reliability, and manufacturability of IT components.
