Education:
∎ Diploma in Medical Assistant Training School (MATS) from a recognized institution.
∎ Graduation from a recognized Paramedic training program.
∎ Any other relevant certifications, e.g., Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.

∎ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, clinic, or emergency medical service setting.
∎ Fresh graduates with strong academic records and demonstrable practical skills are also encouraged to apply.
∎ Experience in Drug Addiction Treatment Center or healthcare settings will be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
∎ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, especially in emergency situations.
∎ Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure.
∎ Proficiency in basic computer applications and comfortable with digital tools for record-keeping.
∎ Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
∎ Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist medical practitioners and paramedics in various medical procedures and patient care.
∎ Perform basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
∎ Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately.
∎ Assist with wound care, bandaging, and minor medical procedures under supervision.
∎ Administer medications as per physician's orders and established protocols.
∎ Prepare examination rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
∎ Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes.
∎ Provide pre-hospital care and stabilize patients during emergencies.
∎ Assist in the safe transportation of patients to healthcare facilities.
∎ Educate patients and their families on basic health practices and follow-up care.
∎ Ensure proper management and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
∎ Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including infection control standards.
∎ Maintain smooth interpersonal communication within the team and with patients.
∎ Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
