• Proven experience (2 years) as a Painter, with a focus on painting wood and steel surfaces.
• Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and finishes, as well as their appropriate application methods.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately to achieve desired results.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform painting tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials.

Responsibilities & Context:

We are currently seeking a Painter with experience in painting wood and steel surfaces to join our team in the Below the Line (BTL) industry.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary to ensure proper adhesion and finish.
• Select and mix appropriate paint colors and finishes according to project specifications and client preferences.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers in a manner that achieves a smooth, even finish.
• Ensure consistent quality and adherence to color standards by carefully following painting techniques and procedures.
• Perform touch-ups and repairs to painted surfaces as needed to maintain appearance and integrity.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition, cleaning and storing them properly after use.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling paint, solvents, and other hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with other team members, including carpenters, welders, and fabricators, to coordinate painting activities and meet project deadlines.
