Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and maintain operation theatre.
∎ Maintain equipment support in an acute care environment.
∎ Supervise and coordinate the activities of the operating theatre staff.
∎ Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and protocols
∎ Manage scheduling of surgeries and allocation of theatre resources.
∎ Maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies and equipment.
∎ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals.
∎ Monitor and assess the performance of the operating theatre team.
∎ Implement and review policies and procedures for theatre operations.
∎ Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
∎ Follow biomedical waste disposal protocols.
∎ Any other task assigned by authority.
