Job Context:
∎ Operation Manager is responsible for comprehensive operation of the plant and guiding Shift In-charges for the operation of all plant equipment in a safe, reliable and efficient manner following industry regulations, safety standards, environmental compliance, original equipment manufacturers recommendations and operating procedures to achieve the optimum plant availability, reliability, and improve plant efficiency without compromising personnel and equipment safety.
∎ Operation Manager shall report the daily plant operational condition as well as operation consumables information to CTO / Plant Manager and coordinate and cooperate among the relevant parties such as Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, HSE department, Inventory department with any required task.
∎ Operation Manager shall comply with ESIA (Environmental and Social Impact Assessment) and sustain quality.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and supervise all day-to-day operation related work including plant operation, plant efficiency, availability, reliability, operation consumables, effective organization etc.
∎ Monitor and report the daily plant operation condition to CTO/Plant Manager and identify areas for improvement to optimize plant efficiency and output. The information shall be shared with other departments including Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS to ensure seamless operations and effective communication. In addition, the information shall be disseminated to subordinates in a timely manner.
∎ Cooperate with Maintenance Manager to execute countermeasure when plant malfunction occurs.
∎ Cooperate with Engineering Manager to make training plan for Operation staff and execute the training accordingly.
∎ Cooperate with Inventory Staff to issue necessary Purchase Request and stock proper amount of operation consumables as always.
∎ Cooperate with HSE Staff to comply with ESIA commitment such as emission, waste water regulation amount and value, etc..
∎ Create KPI/department goal and strive to commit them.
∎ Develop annually, monthly, weekly, daily operation plan and prepare yearly operation budget and monitor actual expenses to achieve them.
∎ Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the Operators to execute stable and efficient plant operation.
∎ Ensure Reliever to execute necessary day shift duty for stable operation.
∎ Ensure Chemical Engineer to execute proper chemical analyzation and ensure compliance with operational values and emission standards.
∎ Coordinate and liaison with government authority such as NLDC, PGCB, BPDP and Titas to report to external parties as necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Experience in Power Plant Operation & Maintenance in a leadership or management role.
∎ Understanding on technology of Combined Cycle Power Plant (such as GE F-class GT machines).
∎ Must have good problem solving and analytical skills necessary to determine current / future operating conditions and trends for optimizing plant performance and to interpret data to drive decisions
∎ Awareness of importance of EIAS compliance.
∎ Awareness of importance of quality improvement and ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives
∎ Excellent communication skill for reviewing manuals, procedures and reports in English.
