Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 17 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute O&M preparation and commissioning applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, & techniques to perform activities/assignments that may include a variety of complex features under O&M Preparation Manager.
∎ Coordinate and support to all activities of Operator team together with O&M Preparation Manager.
∎ Conduct technical meetings with the concerned parties as necessary in order to discuss and resolve the issues.
∎ Cross discipline coordination and support.
∎ Prepare reports for reporting to management, lenders, Lenders’ Advisors and other agencies as may be required.
∎ Coordination with Government Authorities as needed.
∎ Ensure compliance to local regulations, codes and standards.
∎ Perform operational tasks required for commissioning during construction stage.
∎ Perform operations required for Power Plant (CCGT: Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) such as normal operation, start-up and shutdown, emergency response, etc…
∎ Perform site patrols to verify and record operating conditions.
∎ Perform isolation of system/equipment for maintenance.
∎ In case the failure happens, conduct root cause analysis by related drawing, logic, etc.
∎ Cooperate with maintenance team to prepare maintenance and commissioning schedules.
∎ Leads shift members and provides appropriate direction.
∎ Report operational performance and other information to Line Manager as required.
∎ Coordinate plant operation schedule with National Load Dispatch Centre as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Power Plant Operation & Maintenance.
∎ Understanding on technology of Combined Cycle Power Plant (such as GE F-class GT machines).
∎ Must have good problem solving and analytical skills necessary to determine current / future operating conditions and trends for optimizing plant performance.
∎ Awareness of importance of HSE compliance.
∎ Good English writing skill for preparing manuals, procedures and reports.
