Additional Requirements:

• Age 24 to 35 years

• Professional Fire Safety Certification from the Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence.

• Hands-on experience in managing fire safety equipment, audits, and training programs.Strong knowledge of BNBC, NFPA codes, and Bangladesh Fire Safety Regulations.

• Ability to conduct fire risk analysis and implement preventive measures.

• Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (for layout verification) preferred.

• Team player with attention to detail and high safety awareness.

Responsibilities & Context:

The Officer / Senior Officer – Fire Safety will be responsible for implementing and maintaining all fire prevention, protection, and emergency response systems within the factory premises. The incumbent will ensure compliance with national fire safety regulations, buyer standards, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular fire risk assessments and ensure effective fire prevention measures are in place.

• Inspect and maintain all firefighting equipment, alarms, extinguishers, hydrant lines, and emergency lighting systems.

• Supervise and conduct fire drills, evacuation exercises, and safety awareness training for employees.

• Prepare and update the Fire Safety Plan, Fire License documents, and evacuation maps as per legal and buyer requirements.

• Ensure all fire exits, escape routes, and assembly points are properly marked and unobstructed.

• Coordinate with the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) and other authorities for inspections and compliance audits.

• Monitor the installation and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems in coordination with Engineering and Maintenance teams.

• Maintain records of fire safety inspections, training logs, equipment servicing, and incident reports.

• Investigate fire-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to fire prevention and workplace safety.
