Responsibilities & Context:
Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace health and safety regulations across all operational sites, including depots and gas manufacturing units.
Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and implement safety policies, emergency procedures, and risk assessments in line with national and international standards.
Maintain and update safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection checklists, and compliance records.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, or near misses and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Coordinate and deliver health and safety training sessions for employees and contractors to promote a safety-first culture.
Ensure all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, PPE, and alarms, are regularly checked and in working condition.
Assist in emergency response planning and drill execution at all relevant sites.
Liaise with government bodies and regulatory authorities regarding compliance and inspections.
Any other tasks assigned by the authority related to health, safety, or compliance.
