Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Calibrate the machine before the production begins.
∎ Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
∎ Monitor and control the machine performance and settings.
∎ Regularly conduct tests of the machines performance and operating capacity.
∎ Inspect machinery with appropriate tools.
∎ Fix any issues or malfunctions that may occur.
∎ Check the output of the machines and identify any issues.
∎ Keep an updated database on all of the machines information, defective units and final products.
∎ Maintain a log of the activity and Regularly submit performance reports.
∎ Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
∎ Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
∎ Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
∎ Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
∎ Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
∎ Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
∎ Control and regulate machine settings, as well as monitor input and output control
∎ Ensure production batches consistently run according to formulation and instructions
∎ Ensure optimal utilization of machines and production equipment throughout the work hours
∎ Address any problems that might arise during the change
∎ Verify that safety equipment on machinery is functional prior to operation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates with relevant experience from Chipper section, flaker section, dryer section, energy plant, continues press, forming, pre press, sanding section, etc. of Particle Board and MDF industry will be preferred.
