Educational Requirements:
∎ Educational Qualification: Diploma in IT/ Networking/Electronics/ Electrical.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Resource required for communication project for the position of OFC Engineer. He will be based in Dhaka and in charge of managing the OFC Implementation part.
∎ Trenching, Ducting, Hand Hole Installation, DIT, Cable Pulling, Termination, Splicing, All OFC work.
∎ Understanding of preventive & Corrective Maintenance of OFC Route.
∎ Link testing. OFC Link loss testing.
∎ Knowledge in Splicing, Termination & Jointing OFC.
∎ Knowledge of Acceptance test (AT) process.
∎ Shall carry our site surveys for OFC network along Railway Track
∎ Shall use tools for survey and planning
∎ Termination of fibre to ODF.
∎ Shall design and develop OFC Network route plan
∎ Shall develop implementation procedure for OFC Network, Splicing, Termination, Testing, Troubleshooting and Rectification etc.
∎ Shall develop ROW procedures, activities for OFC network laying including Railway procedures

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in OFC implementation solutions in Networks.
∎ Mandatory skill:
∎ Should have experience in dealing with OFC laying
∎ Necessary to have in-depth understanding of EHS Safety procedures and requirements.
∎ Should know Optical link budgeting, Link Splicing, Link Testing
∎ Should have understanding of equipment that get connected to OFC
∎ Should have prepared design document for live projects
∎ Should have strategic and analytical thinking/approach during presales/business development stages in creating solutions/presentations

∎ Depending of experience and qualification
