Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more complex drawings
∎ Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation if service is
∎ requested by the application engineer or project manager.
∎ Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment installations: equipment and plant engineering.
∎ Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (like drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and /performance guarantees) for future reference.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of third party items and services data base. Review and modify
∎ information with supervision by the Director of Engineering. Make data available to application
∎ engineers and project managers.
∎ Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings
∎ Perform quality control, verify and document correctness of design intent and field work performed prior to construction operations
∎ Perform all other duties as assigned by the Project Manager including periodical field work
∎ Working very closely with technology development team in Intel to ensure the device targets meet process specification
∎ Address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process
∎ Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
∎ Make revisions to models as requested
∎ Pursue ongoing education in the field
∎ Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modelling

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4-5 years of experience in CAD Engineering.
∎ Mandatory Skills/ Certification
∎ A sound knowledge of engineering design principles.
∎ An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
∎ Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner
∎ Experience using AutoCAD 2D design software (required).
∎ Experience in equipment layout for municipal and/or industrial construction projects. (required).
∎ Experience in equipment/plant layout relating to wastewater treatment facilities. (preferred).
∎ Thinking of possible design solution; modifying designs and retesting them
∎ Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and clients
