Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have B.Sc in Nursing / Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery from any recognized institute by Bangladesh Nursing Council.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Explain medical procedures to the patients/ beneficiaries as well as establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
∎ Assist the patients in understanding their condition, medication with dose intervals, and other doctor's recommendations as well as teaching patients, friends, and family to understand self-care skills, and answering questions
∎ Assist Medical Doctor in conducting health examinations including history taking, measurement, treatment, medication management and dispensing, immunization, and collating medical reports
∎ Maintain a daily checklist of all medical equipment and medicines to ensure that all medical kits are ready and fully stocked, with all medical supplies organized, listed, and within the expiration period
∎ Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
∎ Ensure implementation of care to a high standard and ongoing evaluation of care
∎ Ensure correct maintenance of instrument and equipment by proper cleaning, handling sterilizing and utilization
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
