Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Observe student’s comfort, happiness, safety, and relationship with peers and assess the satisfaction level of students and parents
∎ Counsel and provide support to students who have serious discipline, emotional, behavioral, and learning problems
∎ Keep track of students with chronic disciplinary issues, understand their problems and needs and counsel accordingly
∎ Regularly follow up on students (individual and group cases) who are under counseling
∎ Maintain proper and detailed documentation of individual cases of disciplinary issues or students that are in counseling;
∎ Correspond with parents regularly regarding disciplinary issues, and respond to their queries, complaints, and suggestions promptly and properly, through the office of the Head of Section
∎ Conduct professional counseling for student’s parents as and when necessary and follow up on these cases
∎ Conduct workshops with faculties on student’s psychological, learning, and behavioral issues
∎ Consult with respective faculties on specific behavioral issues of the students
∎ Provide support to faculties to overcome their psychological issues which affect teaching
∎ Work closely with the Head of Section and the Discipline Committees to ensure all disciplinary procedures are followed effectively
