∎ Age at least 23 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Verify the readiness of the equipment by checking the Ready LED indicator; inform the medical physicist or biomedical engineer if it's not glowing and log the issue.
∎ Receive and dispatch inpatients by filling out tracer charts from patient files.
∎ Enter patient details (name, age, sex, region of X-ray, etc.) into the CR/DR system.
∎ Prepare patients for X-ray contrast studies by ensuring necessary paperwork (consent forms, medical history, old documents) is completed.
∎ Provide hospital gowns for females and linen sheets for males, as required.
∎ Request patients to hand over valuables to their attendants, for both outpatients and inpatients.
∎ After taking the X-ray as per the requisition, check processed films before informing patients of the results.
∎ For outpatients, inform them about the report collection time, and for inpatients, notify them that the report will be dispatched to their ward.
∎ Prepare processed films by labeling and packaging them correctly.
∎ Perform additional tasks as required by departmental rules and regulations.
