∎ Diploma in Medical Technology-Radiology and Imaging from an accredited academic institution and recognized & registered by Bangladesh State Institute of Medical Technology.
∎ Minimum two years of experience in Radiology unit

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform diagnostic imaging, especially X-rays, (optionally CT scans, MRIs, and other forms of medical imaging) to help diagnose illnesses and conditions.
∎ The Hospital operates 24 hours a day, thus Radiographer may need to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends or duties in shift.
∎ In addition to performing the diagnostic imaging, radiographer will prepare the patient for their procedures.
∎ This includes explaining how the procedure works and addressing any questions or concerns, along with compiling a medical history for the patient and providing them with any necessary protective clothing or gear.
∎ The Radiographer will also ensure the patient is positioned to get the clearest and most accurate image possible.
∎ Some surgeries, especially those that are particularly invasive, require the assistance of medical imaging to allow the surgeon a better view of the patient’s body.
∎ Radiographer will be responsible for operating this equipment during these procedures.
∎ Ensure that all the diagnostic imaging equipment are always in proper working order with appropriate maintenance of machines.
∎ Ensure uninterrupted supplies of logistics (films, printing papers) necessary for continued radiology and imaging services.
∎ Collect and keep records of all cases and analyse those data and use them for prearrangement or procurement of special care facilities including expensive drugs and/or surgical interventions.
∎ Perform such other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
