Job Context:

∎ She/he will also act as a leader to manage the administrative as well as clinical duties involved in the center.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessment of patients.
∎ Check and verify medical records
∎ Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury as per the process and requirement
∎ Filling up all relevant details in the EMR reports depending upon formats as agreed.
∎ Declare a patient fir or unfit depending upon the relevance of the test -by ordering and interpreting tests and by analyzing records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition.
∎ Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
∎ Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results through the clinical management system
∎ Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients if required
∎ Coordinate work with nurses, and other health care providers.
∎ Ensure all MIS reports are shared with the concerned teams as per agreed timelines and standards/formats
∎ Handle emergencies.
∎ Detailed history taking and Physical examination and documentation with in time frame and provide required guidance.
∎ Responsible for sending the patient for the appropriate investigation as directed by the primary consultant and also to authorize investigations, which are urgent.
∎ Assess patients for treatment as deemed fit by his / her consultant and review them regularly.
∎ Everyday needs to fill the case sheets and progress notes without fail.
∎ Responsible for providing adequate treatment to the patient as advised and to check the dosage, frequency, route of administrations of all medications, considering all precautions.
∎ Continually monitor and review patient progress and adjust the management plan when necessary and to take appropriate initiatives in Medical and surgical emergencies when required.
∎ Follow company practices and demonstrate initiative aligned to ensuring the safest possible environment for patients and staff.
∎ To attend all clinical meetings and workshops and actively participate in paper presentations.
∎ To be part of training programs conducted in the healthcare and to take continuous initiatives for knowledge and skill up gradation.
∎ To do on-Call duties to attend to medical patients received through emergency and assist in their management as advised by the consultant.
∎ He /She shall follow the additional precautions for suspected/confirmed patients of certain infectious diseases as per company protocol for prevention and control of infections.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ All medical reports to be reviewed and rated as per agreed timelines (SLA)
∎ The final report which declares a patient fit or unfit as per the agreed timeline
∎ Ensure that the daily reports are updated and uploaded in the system with no backlogs. All reports for any given day must be recorded and uploaded into the system. This includes the reports from the tests carried out the night before
∎ Appropriate Guidance with Abnormal reports - Appropriate guidance of abnormal reports to ensure that all checks are completed in advance
∎ Appropriate reporting of general physician examination- All medical examination is carried out as per the process
∎ Adherence to Policies & Procedures
∎ A code of conduct i.e. set of rules that become a standard for all employees under different circumstances in the workplace
∎ Behavioral standards -the reasonable standards of behavior that are expected of them in the workplace. This includes collaborating with coworkers, time keeping, ownership of assigned tasks, ability to take additional responsibilities etc.
∎ To prescribe, review and monitor appropriate therapeutic interventions relevant to clinical practice
∎ Shows respect and behave in accordance with Good Medical Practice
∎ Works flexibly and deals with tasks effectively and efficiently
∎ Remains calm in stressful or high pressure situations and adopts a timely, rational approach
∎ Maintains good inter personal relationship with his colleagues and juniors
∎ Must have valid BMDC Registration
