Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS from any reputed medical college with BMDC registration

Job Context:
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Medical Officer for a multi country multi-center Phase 3 vaccine trial.
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
∎ The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year but may be extended for further period depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute overall implementation of the clinical studies and disease surveillance as per the guidelines and under guidance of project manager
∎ Monitor and supervise sample and data collection from hospital and field; resolve any issues and maintain proper documentation
∎ Supervise study physicians and guide them throughout the study period as per GCP and study protocol including quality control
∎ Work as a first touchpoint of the study to resolve any issues and provide feedback to the management
∎ Ensure the operation of management systems and operating procedures to implement project activities.
∎ Monitor the study progress, identify issues with potential solutions, and discuss with supervisor without delay
∎ Liaison and coordination with GoB/MOHFW and other stakeholders, local leaders, and hospital staff, fellow study staff and foreign study monitors for smooth implementation of the study
∎ Provide training to the hospital and field staff as required to ensure quality data collection
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three years' experience in public health research/program, including one year experience in management positions
∎ Competency requirement:
∎ Ability to work in a complex environment and deliver results in high-pressure situations within the stipulated timeline
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communication
∎ Knowledge of ethical guidelines
∎ Efficient decision making and problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to summarize the results or observation
∎ Proven experience of leading and managing a large team with an aptitude to work independently
∎ Additional requirement:
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication, documentation and presentation skills
∎ Skilled in MS office and Excel software
∎ Must have innovative thinking skills
∎ Should have a drive to learn and solve problems
∎ Motivation to take challenges
∎ Good networking and negotiating skills
∎ Ability to travel to the field (more than 40% of the time)
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English, both written and verbal
Salary:
∎ 88,031/- per month including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefits.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
