∎ MBBS Degree, preferably Master's in Public Health or relevant discipline

∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Duty station: Zakiganj in Sylhet district
∎ This is a fixed-term position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and guide the field and hospital teams at Zakiganj, Sylhet
∎ Provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and project management to implement planned activities and produce results.
∎ Ensure and oversee the timely and successful implementation of project activities.
∎ Ensure the operation of management systems and operating procedures to implement project activities.
∎ Monitor the progress and identify issues with potential solutions, and notify investigators without delay
∎ Liaison and coordination with GoB/MOHFW and other stakeholders, and local leaders for smooth implementation of Projahnmo studies
∎ Assist in preparing programmatic reports for donors

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three years' experience in public health research/program, including one year experience in management positions.
∎ Ability to work in a complex environment and deliver results in high-pressure situations within the stipulated timeline
∎ Efficient decision making and problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to summarize the results or observation
∎ Proven experience of leading and managing a large team with an aptitude to work independently
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication, documentation and presentation skills
∎ Good networking and negotiating skills
∎ Ability to travel to the field (more than 40% of the time)
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English, both written and verbal
