∎ Applications are invited on an urgent basis for this position in IAHS-H on the following terms and conditions:
∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical impairments or disabilities.
∎ Conduct physical examinations and patient history reviews to understand the nature of the injury or condition.
∎ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include medication management, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and other interventions.
∎ Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
∎ Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
∎ Manage chronic pain conditions using a variety of treatment methods, including medications, physical therapy, and other modalities.
∎ Provide patients and their families with education about the condition, treatment options, and the rehabilitation process.
∎ Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
∎ Prepare and submit reports regarding patient progress, treatment outcomes, and other clinical data as required by the department or management.
∎ Write prescriptions for medications, therapies, and assistive devices as needed.
∎ Ensure that medical practices are in line with current clinical standards, guidelines, and protocols related to physical medicine.
∎ Follow safety protocols and ensure the proper use of equipment and treatment procedures.
∎ Adhere to all healthcare regulations and ethical standards in the provision of care.
∎ Participate in clinical research activities to evaluate new treatments or interventions within physical medicine and rehabilitation.
∎ Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and developments in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
∎ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, interns, and students in the department.
∎ Provide emergency care for patients with acute physical injuries or disabilities.
∎ Refer patients to specialized care when required, including surgical intervention or specialist consultations.
∎ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clarity and understanding of treatment goals.
∎ Carry out tasks assigned by the competent authority.
