Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Dept: Dept of Medicine.
∎ Applications are invited on an urgent basis for this position in IAHS-H on the following terms and conditions:
∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Provide clinical care by diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions and diseases.
∎ Conduct thorough assessments, including physical exams and patient history, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
∎ Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans and ensure that they are followed.
∎ Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient responses and evolving medical conditions.
∎ Provide immediate care in emergency situations and stabilize patients for further treatment or transfer.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
∎ Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to medical ethics and legal standards.
∎ Coordinate with other Depts and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
∎ Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
∎ Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
∎ Provide consultations and second opinions to other medical staff as needed.
∎ Engage in quality assurance activities and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services.
∎ Mentor and train junior medical staff, including residents and interns.
∎ Apply evidence-based practices to ensure high standards of patient care.
∎ Attend OPD/indoor patients / ward & cabins
∎ Participate in academic activities.
∎ Carry out tasks assigned by the competent authority.
