Job Context:
∎ The Medical Intern will:
∎ Assist Praava team to monitor and evaluate processes designed around
∎ patient-centricity and efficient health care delivery within the Praava network
∎ Create patient case studies, especially for unique cases, that Praava could use for
∎ multiple purposes such as training, audits, peer reviews etc.
∎ Participate in ongoing monitoring and evaluation of process designs, particularly for the
∎ Praanno software tool for remote management of COVID positive patients.
∎ Lead analysis of innovative value based care models and technology-based tools.
∎ Identify evidence-based mechanisms for tracking clinical outcomes.
∎ This is an opportunity to help shape a new model of care in Bangladesh, together with the
∎ Praava family, including doctors, nurses, health coaches, laboratory and diagnostic staff, and
∎ senior leaders.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ What are we looking for?
∎ M.D.candidates from U.S.-based medical schools or MBBS students from Bangladesh or other
∎ markets. Given the pandemic, this role will be fully virtual for non-Bangladesh based students
∎ until travel restrictions are lifted. We are currently recruiting for both part time and full time roles.
∎ You also demonstrate:
∎ Passion for innovations in medicine, including process efficiencies and technology.
∎ Ability to listen with empathy and to communicate with respect when interacting in
∎ person with health care professionals and patients.
∎ Attention to detail and excellent medical writing and documentation skills.
∎ Experience collecting and analyzing data in healthcare settings.
∎ Technical knowledge of patient-centric and value-based healthcare concepts is
∎ especially attractive to us.
