∎ Education minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent, course in electrical trade from recognized vocational school/ training institutes.

∎ Reports to: Finance & Admin Officer
∎ Nature of Job: Full time
∎ Level: Junior-level
∎ For operation, repairing and maintaining generators, we are looking for an experienced and potential Mechanic/Technicianto recruit shortly.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday with 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some extra hours to meet the need of the project.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
∎ Have to follow ICCO HR, Admin and Finance related policy.
∎ Duration of contract till December 2020. With possibilities of extension depending on fund availability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Responsibilities:
∎ The role of the Mechanic/Technicianis to operate, manage, repair assist the field team in selection beneficiary suitable for tailoring IGAs and provide them tailoring training, follow-up support at their door-steps, market linkage and service communication.
∎ Specific Responsibilities:
∎ Operation and maintaining of generators providing power to mini-scale production centers
∎ Repair the generators as and when needs and keep functioning all of them
∎ Take safety measure to avoid incidents from generators
∎ Assist necessary procurement for generators if and when needs
∎ Prepare and submit reports monthly/ weekly as required by the projects and the supervisors
∎ Liaison and relationship with stakeholders and counterpart in the working areas
∎ Participate other meetings, events and represent the project and the ICCO Cooperation properly
∎ The duties and responsibilities may change in order to requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of work experience in operation, repairing and maintaining generators
∎ Able to speak the local dialect/Chittagong language preferred
∎ Female candidates strongly preferred
∎ Experience with NGOs development work preferred
∎ Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skills
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in Bengali.
∎ Willingness to drive motorcycle with valid licensewill be added value for the position.
Salary:
∎ Competitive salary package depending on education and experience.
