Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
∎ Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
∎ Resolve motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems.
∎ Ensure high level technical support to lower level technicians.
∎ Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.
∎ Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment daily.
∎ Weld using cutting torch.
∎ Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks and bobcats.
∎ Assemble and install mechanical systems for industrial, electromedical, and manufacturing purposes
∎ Assist mechanical engineers in developing, building & maintaining machines & tools
∎ Read and interpret engineering designs, plans, and diagrams for piping, transmission, and HVAC systems
∎ Test and analyze machines, tools, and components to determine their performance, strength and response to stress
∎ Carry out inspections to identify faults and initiate repair of mechanical systems or products
∎ Monitor mechanical processes to ensure conformance to standard project procedures
∎ Use CAD software and technology to prepare drawing plans and design for an engineering project
∎ Assemble components or machine parts to form integral or complete product unit
∎ Ability to work with a variety of precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, rulers)
∎ Timely and accurate completion of daily site diaries and recording of any change requests or delay to our progress are critical element of this role.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates with relevant experience from Chipper section, flaker section, dryer section, energy plant, continues press, forming, pre press, sanding section, etc. of Particle Board and MDF industry will be preferred.
