Job Context:
∎ Mechanical Manager to perform various tasks in management of Mechanical works for the 718 MW (net) CCPP at Meghnaghat (the "Project") undertaken by the Company in relation to construction and commissioning of the Project. It includes technical coordination with EPC contractor, Owners`, lenders` technical advisor ad any necessary counterparties in relation to the Project, provided that such coordination shall be under supervision and instruction of the Construction Manager.
∎ Reporting To : Construction Manager & Chief Technical Officer
∎ Job Location : Project Site Office, Meghnaghat

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The scope of work of Mechanical Manager will be as described below but not limited to:
∎ 1. Execute the Mechanical engineering works at site applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, & techniques to perform activities/assignments that may include a variety of complex features under Construction Manager's instruction.
∎ 2. Coordinate and support related to all activities of the Mechanical engineering team together with Construction Manager.
∎ 3. Conduct technical site meetings with the EPC contractor as necessary in order to discuss and resolve problems.
∎ 4. Follow up, monitor and expedite the progress of the Mechanical works by the EPC contractor and regularly report to the Construction Manager.
∎ 5. Confirm the construction milestone progress of Mechanical works to settle the invoices of the EPC milestone payments.
∎ 6. Ensure implementation of Quality Assurance Plan by the EPC Contractor and witness site inspections as required
∎ 7. Ensure that materials/parts related Mechanical works is supplied in accordance with the relevant contractual obligations.
∎ 8. Manage the Mechanical works and follow up with EPC contractor in order to keep the project timeline within schedule.
∎ 9. Cross discipline coordination and support
∎ 10. Regarding Mechanical works, provide recommendations for the issuance of all acceptance certificates.
∎ 11. Regarding Mechanical works, provide recommendations and prepare contractual variations and change orders for technical part relevant to the construction works, if any.
∎ 12. Regarding Mechanical works, witness of testing, commissioning and performance tests of the plant to ensure that the tests are correctly performed according to the approved procedures.
∎ 13. Ensure implementation HSE plan and ESMP
∎ 14. Provide support to the Construction Manager in dealing with the EPC contractor, sub-contractors and locals
∎ 15. Prepare reports for reporting to management, lenders, Lenders' Advisors and other agencies as may be required
∎ 16. Coordination with Government Authorities as needed
∎ 17. Ensure compliance to local regulations, codes and standards
∎ 18. Any other task as assigned by the Construction Manager/ Management.
∎ Note-The Key Responsibilities are illustrative; The responsibilities will include any other duties assigned by Board of Directors.
