Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support execution of the Mechanical engineering works at site applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, & techniques to perform activities/assignments that may include a variety of complex features under Construction Manager's instruction.
∎ Coordinate and support to all activities of the Mechanical engineering team together with Construction Manager.
∎ Conduct technical site meetings with the EPC contractor as necessary in order to discuss and resolve problems.
∎ Follow up, monitor and expedite the progress of the Mechanical works by the EPC contractor and regularly report to the Construction Manager.
∎ Confirm the construction progress of Mechanical works to settle the invoices of the EPC milestone payments.
∎ Ensure that materials/parts related to Mechanical works is supplied in accordance with the relevant contractual obligations.
∎ Cross discipline coordination and support
∎ Regarding Mechanical works, support Mechanical Lead to provide recommendations for the issuance of all acceptance certificates.
∎ Support Mechanical Lead to provide recommendations and prepare contractual variations and change orders for technical part relevant to the construction works, if any.
∎ Witness of testing, commissioning and performance tests of mechanical work of the plant to ensure that the tests are correctly performed according to the approved procedures.
∎ Prepare reports for reporting to management, lenders, Lenders' Advisors and other agencies as may be required.
∎ Co-ordinate and/or perform all plant mechanical maintenance activity.
∎ To monitor the condition of machinery, taking preventive action to avoid stoppages/break downs.
∎ Ensure compliance to local regulations, codes and standards.
∎ The responsibilities include the duties of operation and maintenance of Mechanical equipment/facilities of the operation phase.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Capable of carrying out mechanical risk assessment of all safety sensitive activities and providing control measures to ensure safe work conditions.
∎ Experience as a Site Mechanical Engineer, gained in an industry setting
∎ Good in conflict management.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
