Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from any public university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Select construction materials and ensure that they meet project specifications and quality standards.
∎ Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials and analyze test results.
∎ Carry out Mix Design for Pavement and Structural Concrete.
∎ Prepare technical reports and present findings to project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
∎ Conduct research on new construction materials and recommend improvements to existing materials.
∎ Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
∎ Provide advice on material selection and use to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
∎ Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that materials are consistent and meet project requirements.
∎ Monitor construction materials inventory and ensure that adequate supplies are available for ongoing projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 48 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 10 years of experience in material selection, testing, and analysis for construction projects
∎ Strong knowledge of construction materials and their properties
∎ Experience in laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials
∎ Supervising and coordinating laboratory and overall testing of materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTOO, BS and Project specifications.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
∎ Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
∎ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other materials testing and analysis software
