Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the end-to-end supply chain operations for a Polymer division. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and excellence across procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution functions.
∎ Lead procurement activities including sourcing, supplier negotiation, contract management, and vendor development.
∎ Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s production and growth targets.
∎ Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless demand and supply planning.
∎ Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to reduce holding costs without affecting service levels.
∎ Establish strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
∎ Improve delivery and reduce transport costs by making logistics and distribution more efficient.
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
∎ Analyze supply chain data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
∎ Guide and mentor supply chain team members to enhance performance and professional development.
∎ Report to senior management with insights and recommendations for strategic decisions.
