Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze the effectiveness of Transport Operation Management. Making sure system will work also part of a Distribution channel.
∎ Able to hire a team of skilled technician and supervise them.
∎ Time to time reporting to Management regarding current scenario of transport department.
∎ Develop Effective & Efficient Transport policy for both officials & Drivers.
∎ Excellent capability and in depth knowledge of Fleet management & Asset Management.
∎ Implement and enforce transportation scheduling and policy changes. Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
∎ Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repair to Vehicle.
∎ Have to manage owner’s vehicle by pool management.
∎ Prioritize and assign work as per timely need & organizational need.
∎ Ensure quality, compliance and safety of company’s assets
∎ Control repair, inventory and labor costs
∎ Manage facilities, assuring a clean and safe working environment
∎ Purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries.
∎ Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
∎ Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
∎ Registering and licensing all vehicles under their management.
∎ Finding ways for cost efficiency at every aspect.
∎ Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
∎ Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
∎ Complying with BRTA and Transport laws and regulations of Country.
∎ Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
∎ Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
∎ Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
∎ Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
